Notable Characters
Mahryn
Gentle and peaceful, the tribes of the Mahryn had dwelled and
prospered in their lush and bountiful wetland home for generations
upon generations. Petite and fair of face, these beings were
striking in appearance, boasting coal black hair and bright violet
eyes with lithe and graceful bodies that had evolved through the
millennia to flourish boundlessly in the loving embrace of their
aquatic life. Such was the peaceful and contented world of the
Mahryn before the wreckage and unspeakable atrocities inflicted by
the despotic, conquering leader of the larger, massive Wasak.
Once enchanting and fulfilling, the world of the Mahryn
descended into a veritable hell.
Wasak
Massive, hulking and frightful in appearance, these powerful
creatures were barely able to exist in the rugged, foreboding
foothills and highlands of the north. Struggling to survive in
their harsh homeland, these once gentle folk are led astray by an
evil, power- hungry, despotic family who drain away the life
sustaining water from the Mahryn giving them but one choice, become
slaves of the Wasak, or die of starvation.
